Gift Wrapping!

I recently bought a present for my dear friend Melissa who crossed the great threshold of thirty. Since I bought the gifts at two different stores and they did not come with their own packaging, I decided to spend some time beautifying the presentation. It’s all about the little touches right??

I folded tissue paper in the shape of a lotus and placed the blinging cat ring in the middle.

Gorgeous decorative box I found by Liberty of London

Floral print on the top of the box... so pretty!

I wrapped the box with my favorite purple ribbon from costco (I got a huge roll years ago and still have not ran out. Go Costco!)

I used a silver sharpie to write her name on the card envelope.

I ripped out a bunch of pages from the Nordstrom cataloge and folded the paper like fans.

Instead of using tissue paper, I used the folded magazine pages to line the inside of the paper bag.

I also filled the inside with smaller pieces of the folded magazine pages to cover the present inside.

The birthday girl and our matching rings!!! Yay!!
