I’m a 20 something Japanese female living in Salt Lake City, Utah. My immediate family lives in Japan, but I consider Hawaii my home. I have a great job at an IT company, awesome friends and a newly purchased and renovated Condo which still needs a lot of work. This blog is about my life in Salt Lake City, lived from a perspective of a person who grew up in a massive city like Kobe, Japan and Honolulu, Hawaii – both of which had endless entertainment at the tip of my fingers. I am still very much in need of new new clothes/shoes, new activities, and new culinary adventures, and guess what? I find them even though I now live in a smaller place with sprawling suburbs and very little city!!
It’s all about the things you love – it doesn’t matter where you live – you will find it, or it will find you.

Where in Hawaii do you call home? I lived there for many years and moved back to Salt Lake City so that our daughter could be closer to family. I call Palehua home.
